hi any one out there can guide me through the method of how to resize a 12.2 megapixel picture in phot shop elements 5 or 6. using photo gadget to resize at mo but the pics loose too many details. when veiwed on my pc they are nice and sharp but after resize look fuzzy and blured. have good camera and fair macro lens but photo's look crap when i put them on here. any one help please. len
in photoshop go to image>image size and change it there.
also drop the resolution to to 72dpi

If you want to resize the image resolution use the "Image resize" function under the menu "Image". and select the size you want, such as width 800 and Height 600
If you want to make the file size smaller (less memory) the use the "Save for Web" function under the "File" menu and select your option in the top right, so for example select JPG with medium quality.
Much simpler than that is if you use the UR uploader which automatically resizes.

thanks will give it a go. only thing with the u/r resizer is it takes ages to make 12.2 megapixel files to the size it needs.. len
