My Nikon Speedlight SB600 has arrived. Haven't read the instructions properly (!) but have fired off a few shots!

brilliant pics. What camera are u using as i searched for the nikon speedlight sb600 and it brought up flash type thing not a camera???

Yes it is a flashgun - sits on top of my nikon d40. The pop up flash in the camera is pretty hopeless.
I'll try and read the manual sometime soon!

i really can't wait to get a flash gun, why does everything cost money :mad:
No - a friend is going to lend me his to try - I did think about ordering it at the same time but £40 plus seemed a bit steep!

hi you can buy an optional Wireless Remote Control ML-L3 on ebay for about ten quid. as the camera has built in receiver so you will not need release cable.. wireless is even better hth
