How do i assemble the MCE 600???

I cant fathom out how i am supposed to connect the pump to the inlet pipe, do i have to "stick" my arm in (its a very tight fit!) and try to do it blind or does the whole piece slide out?

also there is a red "knob" on the end of the pump impellor that comes off, is this a protective piece or does this need to stay on?

There is a drawing supplied with the skimmer or available as a download on our D-D web site which should help you.

The pump will drop easily into the box and them pushes forwards onto the suction pipe. The plate at the side of the cup then jams it into the body.

Yes you need the red bush on the impellor as this is what supports the shaft and impellor inside the pump.

The drawing is the easiest way to see how it goes back together
