Cheers Jeff and where did you get that deal
Do a search for 'Kerso'. He runs an eBay store but contact him directly and by missing the ebay charges you can knock about a tenner off all his prices. He's very well received on Photography on the Net and because he supplies an invoice you can do the Canon Cashback (reminds me I must send mine off!).
Surprisingly he has nothing on his ebay store ATM, but if you look at the main thread about him on POTN (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=64418&page=59&highlight=kerso) people have been dealing with him very recently.
I really recommend him and shipping was very very quick.
Jeff.
PS. I can take a few pics once my main lights come on in about 15 mins.

OK here are a few comparison pictures John, not the best in the world but hopefully they'll show the difference. I was only doing a comparison of magnification/focal length and so didnt raise the aperture of the 100mm up to the 5.6 of the kit lens so be aware of why the a lot less of the 100mm pictures are in focus.
I didnt use a tripod and had to use ISO400 hence why they're so noisy, no PP either other than resizing.
All pictures were at minimum focussing distance on both lenses.
