A few question that people might like to include answers to when asking the forum members here "what camera do i 'need'?"
Simply copy and paste these questions below into your post and attempt to answer them as best as possible, then wait for a helpful body or two to come along and help you further :)
Questions
1* What kind of subjects interest you most?
2* What is your budget?
3* Film or digital?
4* What lenses do you want?
5* Will you be using it indoors or outdoors?
6* Are you an amateur or a professional?
7* What about future upgrades and system compatibility?
Some foot notes
*1 - Formal "head and shoulders" portraits, landscapes, fauna, macro, full length portraits, or something else.
*2 - Very important
*3 - I'm guessing digital, but you never know?
*4 - This will in part be determined by the system you wish to buy into, and also the type of photography you decide on.
*5 - Does it need to be robust or light or both?
*6 - I'm guessing amateur, if you are asking these questions, but do you intend on displaying your work in mags, on your home walls etc?
