View Full Version : Wildlife, taken with new 70-300 Tamron

Well I recieved my two Tamron lenses the other day and as I've been using the 28-75 for a while I thought I would go out to Rye nature reserve and try out the 70-300:).

Most, if not all were taken at 300mm on my Canon 400D. This is the first time I've used such a long lens (had a Sigma 70-200 for a Praktica about 10 years ago:o), as there were alot of people about I decided not to take my tripod, but to try Paul's folded arm type grip which I was very impressed with:thumbsup:.

Anyway, here are the pics

As they were quite far away I waited until the foreground was a little more interesting

I'm not 100% sure about the angle of the shot

The lens has a macro capability between 180 and 300mm so I thought I would have a play:)
