Went for a walk the other day back home up in the peak district. This is right near my house.

Was such a nice day I took a few quick snaps as I walked along (on camera phone).

So here are a few pics taken as a progression up the hills and a few with the dog when we got there. :)

Setting off.

Hope you enjoyed these crappy pics of a beautiful place I'm lucky enough to call home. :)

Cheers

Ah nostalgia. Sometimes I really miss living there. Thanks for sharing, Dan.

Where abouts did you live Tony?

Its a gorgeous place, and it was great to go for a walk, sit in the sun on the top of a hill drinking a couple of beers and surveying my kingdom.

Nice snaps. Unfortunately a phone camera is never going to do full justice to the scenery around here. It's been absolutely glorious over the weekend.

Nice looking dog to, by the way! :)

To be honest I've just upgraded my phone to one with a better camera just so I can take pics when I'm out with the dog every evening. So far I think it's me letting the camera down rather than the other way around! Now you've reminded me I'll see what yesterdays snaps came out like. I'll post and half decent ones up.

The Sony Ericsson camera phones have this great feature called best-pic which takes four shots before you press the button, one as you press it then another four after that. It then lets you pick which ones to save. Great as I probably take more pictures of the grand children and the dog than anything else and neither stay still for long!

Where abouts did you live Tony?

I was brought up on the edge of Sheffield, overlooking the moors :)

I married and lived on t'other side for several years, near Stockport, before emigrating to the south.
