Tis the 16th June and the start of the fishing season..... you are giving me the bug after seeing these great pictures. Oh to be with rod in hand......

I work near Preston, Lancashire.

I design and build nature reserves for a living (sounds great - pays nothing but get to play with diggers, dumpers etc for a living!). This one was a quarry until November 2006 its incredible how quick nature moves in with a bit of a helping hand. Those orchids are actually 20 metres away from M6 near Junction 31!

Ok so a tad further south, know the TT well.

This reserve looks great ! Well done.

Makes you a sort of Jonny Kingdom then I guess. Do you shout "Get off my Larrrrnd" at people ?

We have the marsh orchids in marbury park near us they are stunning when there out.
