Aqua Digital PH Controller

Hi

My missus bought me an Aqua Digital PH201 for xmas for my calcium reactor. Got round to setting it all up today. Calibrated the probe to 7 and then 4 as it states. Fitted it into lid of reactor then tried to set it ! It will not set ! It starts off at 8.05 (tank ph) then just continues to fall, even to 0.00 then into the minus. Turning the set dial does nothing !!

Am i doing something hideously wrong or is it a faulty controller or probe ?

There are a number of things it could be, but the most likely is that during the time it has been stored > 7Months the probe has dried out and expired. Probably best if you give me a call so I can run through some tests with you to isolate the issue. 02380 428925.
