Been out and about on Exmoor national park today and it was just beautiful. Nice to see horses in the wild as well.

My photography still needs a lot of work but thought i'd share anyway!!

Well I'm from Tiverton (edge of Exmoor) and always found it the most pointless place on this planet lol

Dartmoor however with its far superior tors is a different matter all together.

Nice pics though.

Have we had the Tiverton conversation before? I've definately had it with someone on this site! Just moved into Tiverton.

I've lived down in Devon for nearly about 10 years now and i've never really been round Exmoor or Dartmoor so now i've got the new camera its my mission to get out there and see more of Devon!!

Great photos... we do have some lovely nice places that haven't been wrecked by concrete yet...

Did you bump into Johnny Kingdom??

I like both - unfortunately still far too many people on them when it's a nice day, although can still find some bits far from the madding crowd if you know where to go.

Where is your last photo taken Esme?

John,

Thats at a place called the Tarr Steps just on the edge of Exmoor i think. Absolutely lovely place and that pic was taken from a nice little pub on top of the hill!!

There is an AA rated hotel up there, only a small hotel but its 5 star. Proper out in the sticks but sometimes thats the best thing - no mobile signal or anything, just peace and quiet in the countryside.
