when i take pics with my olympus e500 it never lets me upload them to ur says file to big.
what setting does it need to be on so i can take close up pics of good quality and still be able to download to site any advice please

just resize them before uploading. use a free tool like paint.net to change the image size to 800 pixels, that should make them small enough and will still look good

You just need to resize them mate using a paint program.The camera wont be able to do in via its settings i wouldnt have thought.

Are you dropping your photo's into iPhoto then?

If so, just select the pictures you want to upload, then do an 'export' (File>Export or Apple+Shift+E)

From the resulting pop up, make sure the Kind is set to JPEG, click size and change it to Custom and put in 640.
