the train goes from Fort William and goes to Mallaig. it takes an hour each way and you stop off at the train station they use in the films. It cost £28 per head, and you can book the actual compartments that they use in harry potter, but we didnt. It costs more!:D Malaig is a port but on the way you go past the most amazing lochs and up big mountains and get to see the white beaches that Scotland has hidden away, i'd reccomend it to all!

all i can say is dont put your head out the window, the conductor does tell you to keep everything inside, because some of the bushes and tunnels are too close to mention. its fab!
