I have a digital 6 way power bar. Socket 6 has no output. The LED for the socket is on and it switches off and on and I can hear the relay switch if I manually toggle the output. What type of fuse does this use ? I only want to take it apart once if I can help it. Thanks in advance !
just brought one of these from STM and the bit of paper that came with the Powerbar6D-UK says this.
One socket can drive a load of up to 10A. The complete powerbar (all sockets together) can drive a load up to 16A. Each socket has its own fuse; a blown fuse can be replaced by opening the housing. replace fuses only when main power supply is completely disconnected! Be careful and dont damage the electronics when opening the housing and replacing a fuse.
The picture opposite then shows the fuses and has the following text.
Fuse for S3 T10A.
So id say they are 10 amp fuses.

It's socket 6 which has a 6.3 Amp fuse but I need to know if it's anti surge, slow blow etc and it's physical size. Thanks for taking the time to reply though :)

Gotta say, I'm impressed with the level of support. :(
Have you contacted Steve at Reefdreams direct via phone or PM?
His level of support is excellent, but at busy times its very easy to miss a post on UR as nobody sponsor wise I guess has time to read every post and the odd one slips through.

As jon said, we do not always get chance to check the forum when we are busy. All the support information and contact numbers for urgent enquiries/support are in this thread http://www.ultimatereef.net/forums/showthread.php?t=245625
Thanks to Keith who emailed and Jon who phoned me and informed of this thread!
There are different versions of the digi bars in circulation, some have fuses some do not. I need all the details off the silver label on the plugbar to be able to advise.
Also what is the state of the indicator light on that socket when you are not receiving power? We haven't had anyone blow a fuse yet in the UK, so I am doubtful that this is the problem. What were you running off the socket? Did anything else trip when the socket stopped getting power?
Probably easier to call me, especially if urgent.

It's a Digital powerbar - 'Powerbar 6D-UK'. Serial Number 0709334013. Label says it has '2x T10A' and '4 xT6.3A'. It was used to switch the halides ( 2x 250 Watt)
of a Giesemann Infinity pendant. Everything else running off the powerbar is/was ok when the socket failed. The halides were on when I left for work and off when I came home. I've tried manually switching the socket on and off. The indicator comes on when switched on and goes off when switched off. I can also hear the relay switch. The halides are currently running on socket 5 and are switching on/off as expected. There's no rush to fix it but obviously I'd like it working at some point. Cheers.

That does sound like a blown fuse. I'll get some fuses in and test them here and then send you one. It's a time delay 6.3A 250v fuse having just taken one apart.
I would recommend using a contactor when you are running 500w of lights off one socket, the initial current surge to strike the laps could be putting unnecessary wear on the socket.

Hiya,
We received one of the pallets of stock we were expecting earlier this week, but Parcelfarce lost the other one which typically had all the fuses in. We received it today finally, so I now have plenty if anyone else in the future needs any. I'll get a couple sent out to you in the morning.
