Which replacement?

Had a wee mishap with my Canon 350d and need to replace it , do i do a straight forward replacement for another 350d, go for the 450d, or the 40d. I'm not sure what benefits the 40d offers over the 450d.

Advice would be appreciated.

Go for a Nikon.
I have a D50 and it's awesome. Have played with the D60 and D80 also, definately prefer these to the canon range.

Hi Trev - easiest thing to do would be to go to dpreview.com - you can compare all these camera models 'side by side' on this site. Its a useful tool.
