Coming soon....the new Max 250 reef system with 234watts lighting and 3600lph turnover.
Thinking of getting a Red Sea Max - anything I need to know
Steve
I bought the CSkim 1200 and was a bit surprised that not everything is ready to go, you need to add a feed pump. The rest of it looks great but not as straight forward as just fit it and go. A bit like buying something without a plug on it :(

Hi George, the C-Skim was never intended or advertised to be supplied with a feed pump in keeping with other skimmers of its size. The main reason for this is that many people use their main feed pump and tee off it to supply the 1500lph required for the C-Skim. Apart from the feedpump the skimmer is supplied with everything you should require, and I hope you are enjoying the performance it gives.
Hi Steve, impressed so far, took a while to get it in and working down to my time only tbh. I have started a review on my tank build thread for it which I will add to over the next few days.:)

Did I tell you I had to get a feed pump, only joking:laugh::laugh:, point taken.:)
When is the website going to be completed so I can register my product, "under construction" been like that for about 5 weeks now, that I have noticed? "www.redseafish.com"

Hi Dibs,
Sorry about the registration issue on the redseafish.com website. I'm having our guys look at it tomorrow and had not noticed it was down (no excuse but we have spent all our time concentrating on www.redseamax.com). Hopefully it will be up and running in a day or so. Drop me an email or PM if you still then have probs. Cheers
Just an update on this skimmer after running for a number of weeks now....
Cleaned the skimmer 2 weekends ago and again last night, it is real easy, do not even need to switch it off, just switch to idle mode, empty and clean the cup. http://www.reefsafe.net/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif One thing is you really need to neck wash it every day or your skim gets very sticky and does not clean so easy. The cup is pretty big and does not need emptied too much, pulling plenty out of my slightly over stocked reef. http://www.reefsafe.net/images/smilies/icon_nono.gif http://www.reefsafe.net/images/smilies/icon_silence.gif
Best bits, love the controls and easy adjustment http://www.reefsafe.net/images/smilies/icon_eyebrows.gif very easy to use unlike my previous Tunze skimmer and turbo flotors, with the viewing window. Great for holidays as the cup is big and you can also drain into a bucket if need be.
Still a big  on this unit.:D
