Fantastic photo. Love trees (more so in winter when they're bare) but this pic just shows their beauty.

interesting composition... first one looks rather soft to me though? is that a PS/HDR effect? (if HDR then the area behind the tree trunk looks too bright to me)

Isn't Robin Hoods tree the 'rock of ages' in Sherwood forest?

The cliffs shot is nice but I'm not a fan of such aggressive HDR application... JMO! (the details enhancer in Photomax produces interesting images but you can spot it a mile off - and I bet it ruined the sky at actual size).
