Dimmable D+D 24G?

If I purchase a Dimmable GHL ballast will I be able to connect it to the integrated compact florescent lights in the hood, and will they be dimmable via the GHL?

GHL don't do compact flourescent ballasts - but others do which will work.

You'll have to rip the lid apart, lots of wiring, but it will work in the end.
