hi as you may have read i am setting up my new tank as my upgrade it should have my seahorses in and everything by monday evening although it may not be filled up to the top by this day but it will take a while.

so anyway this means i can have some more fish and i would really like a shoal of fish of about 5 of the same species so what would you suggest?

i would like blue green or cyanea chromis but i would like to know if their is anything other than the food competition that stops me from keeping them with seahorses, i want to keep them together by using my wine glass food bowl for my seahorses which i dont think the chromis would be able to use as my fire dart cant work it out nor can any other freshwater fish i tested it on (obviously my seahorses use it and never get confused by it).

and i will be having a few more seahorses i might try to get some yellows kuda or redi

im planning on having a shoal of 7 blue green chromis in with my seahorses, just feed at opposite sides of the tanks and they should be fine from whati have read on various horsey sites.

ps i looooove your signature, made me lmao

thanks and yeah i think i will have chromis its worth a try that or a few bangii cardinals but then they can pair of and kill the rest so i dont know i will have to think about it carefully

I wouldn't recommend a shoal of fish at all. This really should be a species own tank as fish will gobble up all the horses' food.

Fish aren't daft, you squirt food one end and then go to the other end to feed the horses, they will go where the food is.

The same family such as pipefish maybe ok.

i would love about 4 dragonface and 2 bluestripe pipefish but i can never find bluestripe so i may end up with loads of dragonface and kuda(if i ever get enough money together)
after i spend tonnes on seafans and gorgs and various other branching things.
