connecting and controlling GHL dosing pumps with Profilux II

Hi guys.

I am trying to connect the dosing unit (2 pumps) with the profilux II.

the instructions are a bit vague, so I am guessing on the setup..

I've connected the dosing unit to a mains plug. not the profilux powerbar.

I've connected the control line (RJ11?) to the left hand port in the dosing unit, and the other end of the control line to the port on the profilux marked S1-4.

I've then setup a dosing schedule.

Problem is I haven't seen it in action yet.

I've set the software so S1 = dosing unit, and the 3 others S2, 3 & 4 are blank.

Apart from this, I have no idea what to do...


Does what I've done seem right?

Do you have a plugbar as well, where is that connected and is it a digital or analogue (4 socket)? What is the didgtal powerbar flag on the socket outlet page set to?

When you plug the dosing pump into S1/S4 it will assume the socket numbers 1-4, so apart from also setting socket outlet function for socket 2 to dosing pump 2 your settings look correct.

If you go to the socket outlet page in the software and click manual override, then click the square before socket 1 you should be able to turn the dosing pump on manually to see if it is connected correctly.

think it is sorted.. I hadn't seen the "program socket for dosing pump" thing I needed to do.

I believe it is working.
