Adding another dosing unit

Steve,

looking at adding another 2 pump dosing unit to my profi II (not ex).

I currently have an analogue socket bar and a 4 dosing unit plugged in. Do I need another expansion card for the extra doser or can I use a splitter on an existing socket output?

You won't need another card or splitter cable, but you will need to re-arrange everything.

Disconnect the current dosing pump and plugbar, connect the new doser to S1/S4 and then in the software under socket outlet functions choose program digital plugbar/doser and assign the first socket on the doser to 9.

Plug the powerbar into S5/S8 and then re-set that up so that it performs as now but on sockets 5 to 8.

Re-connect your 4 pump doser to S1/S4 and then daisy chain your new doser out of the back of the current doser.

You will then have Sockets 1-4 current doser, Sockets 5-8 plugbar and Sockets 9 and 10 new dosing pump.
