i have a dslr camera a gx10 , but i am still sruglling to find the best settings for taking pics of my tank , this is latest ones.....

Hi Jaggy - I am in the same boat as you - I just got myself a new Nikon D40 DSLR...
What settings are you using here?
Have a look in my thread what was suggested to me.......
The suggested settings are:
- shutter speed: 1/125 (play with this, slightly up or down)
- aperture setting: f5.6 to f8
- ISO: 400 to 800
See if you get slightly lighter photographs....
hiya fella, nice fish to be taking shots off.
Tank shots are allways difficalt,
I have a nikon d80 and seem to be getting good shots with the settings of 1/80 ss 1000 iso WB on k setting at about 4000k, higher for blue-er shots and lower for yellower,
you can try flicking the fash on too, not on auto as it doesn't work but on manual. have a go.

Looks a bit under exposed but pretty sharp,what settings have you used mate?
