Would yellow headed/Pearly Jawfish be considered suitable tank mates for sea horses?
Funnily enough we keep seahorses and have just added one of these Jawfish to our tank. It hid for the first couple of days but has become a little more brave now. It's not particularly competitive for the food at the moment as it only hovers by it's burrow, catching any bits that fall near it but its early days yet. Time will tell! We have an Actinic light in our tank and it shows off the Jawfish's beautiful lilac fins. It is a very entertaining little fish. I will say one thing though, it has been digging up the sand at nighttime which is a little annoying :annoyed: but the seahorses and other pipefish find it quite entertaining. :D Check out the link below (I hope it works) and you can see what Seahorse.org have to say about the fish. This is what prompted me to buy one.

Hope this helps. Failing that, if you don't purchase one immediately I can let you know how ours gets on.
