Hello,
I purchased an olympus stylus 725Sw as its water proof and shock proof.
I got this last year for a holiday in Mexico.
I have tried a few of the picture modes built into the camera, but find the pictures still a bit rough.

I think they are over exposing?

here is one i took yesterday in my tank underwater.

Now can anyone with a trained eye point me in the right direction regarding the issues with this photo?

the metering is being tricked into overexposing the photo. if there is and exposure compensation function try under exposing by 1 stop and then fix it in PS or similar.

the angle will be causing metering problems as well as making the composition look weird. move the camera lower in the tank and just shoot blind. it's digital after all.
