good choice Andy

will try and get a pic up of them during the week.

they are amazing fish, coming to the front of the tank asking for food already, and they will take food from your hand :applause:

had a scare last night just before lights out when i took a look into the tank and could only see one
shouted at the missus to help me look, both of us down on our hands and knees, me looking behind the tank, and the missus looking in the sump
one of them had managed to tuck herself into a little gap behind the rockwork, perfectly fine, just found a nice sleeping spot, could just see her tail, and her eye looking through a gap.
she stayed there all night till lights came back on, when she immediately came right to the front of the tank asking for breakfast :worship:
the missus, said the look on my face was priceless when i thought one had gone :o

Be aware they seem to be lazy fish.

Mine lies flat and plays dead in the weirdest of places, and at any time of the day.

Even spotted him lying against a diadema.

Dont get me wrong, they are active, ie swim most of the time.

But mine does seem to like to have a rest... and does it in away that scared me initially.

Now I think its a fantastic character trait.

ok great i am after the species Xanthichthys as they are oceanic active swimmers.

Blue throats are a bit plain

X hatches are a bit to errr yellow... ;)

Hawian Blue line triggers are a bit to huge and expensive

So sargassums are the best for me. Just one mind you and more than likely as it grows it will outgrow my tank so will have to go...

yeah, one of mine is really active, out swimming all the time,
the other stays in her cave alot of the time, but does come out to say hello when i get close to the tank :)
and i know what you mean about them playing dead Craig, one of mine lays almost on his side against the rockwork, has scared the missus a few times already
