Hi all
I have recently upgraded my seahorse tank to a 24"x24"x20" I am running a cannister filter using polyfilter in the bottom then a piece of ReefresH20 in the next 2 baskets and finally carbon and rowaphos in the last, I am not currently running a skimmer, have a redsea Prizm but wary of the bubbles it may cause in the tank.
Anyway my main question is can/should I run ozone in the tank and how can I do it? I have a Sander Certizon 50 an Aquamedic mv controller and probe.

Any info more than welcome, Thanks

Paul

the main problem with ozone is if you dont take it out of the water you will begin to burn the fins of the fish, if you insist on using ozone make sure you have more than suffient carbon to absorb the O3 and change it as often as you can but you should not be too worrried about usinga skimmer if you put it in a sump with baffles or use a sponge to block them entering the tank then this should be fine all else failing use frequent 30% water changes weekly
