Whenever I click on "Level" under "Probe/sensor controls" the PC software crashes!

Any ideas?

Ian,

I haven't been around for the last couple of days.

which operating system are you using and how are you connecting to the unit USB or serial?

I think there is a conflict with the generic prolific usb driver under Vista which might cause this. There is a new vista driver out for the usb connection.

If you let me know the OS and connection I can try and find a resolution for you.

Sounds like it's something like that, Steve.

I'm running Vista (Business Edition).
I'm connecting using the serial connection - I have a Belkin USB serial port for which I installed the Belkin driver.

It's weird that everything else (so far) on the PC software works fine - I've been setting up lighting, temperature, timers, etc. without issue. Then I click "Level" and BANG! Something like "Communication Error" is the message displayed - I can verify this later if you need it :)

Thanks in advance,
