Hi there,
In my reef tank i have used a product by kent marine called "poly ox" it was very affective. Its a liquid that you put a few drops in a day and it oxidises any organic matter left over. You'll just have to check if its safe for seahorses.

Are you running any phosphate or silica remover? e.g. rowaphos?
I found I had cyno in my 35 litre but after I added more macro algea and increased CUC and water changes the issue disappeared, even though I am feeding heavier. The only filtration on this is Live Rock and some filter floss pads.
I am loathe to recommend or use any cure all products.
got a bit in not changed it in a while, i will change it when i get home
with the flow issue willl seahorses get used to higher flow or not as i was planning to fit a spray bar along the top an bottom with decent flow then get the marisis and put most of my liverock in their and the rest in a external that would feed the spray bars this would also mean my bristle worm army could eat at a safe distance from the seahorses
Its a fine balance to achieve!
How old are your bulbs btw? Old bulbs also encourage cyano growth..
oh erm about 3 month for the newest the moon blue is about a year so that sort of needs changing and the greenish one is prob even older :( i forgot about that
i managed to get some macro for free today and while i was in their i got a 4inch X 1 inch sun coral for £16.50 so i feel much better now and now that i have rowaphos in the tank i think i should be on the way back to normal but hopefully not coraline again its a pain :|
