What remote?

Hi all

I was wondering what remote the people who use Canon 400d's are using?

i have an old wireless one from 12 years ago that still works on the 400d.

However i have a cheap aftermarket one from ebay for my 40d that's just as good. it's a wire and a button how can you go wrong?

So do you use the wired remote then? I'm thinking that the wireless is only good if you are facing the camera ie if you're in the pic...I just want it to reduce the amount I touch the camera...

bothe are useful. wired is better as it always works but wireless is better for range and being unobtrusive. probably the most useful overall as you can use it from behind the camera as well (you just have to stretch your arm forward)

it's handy as it clips to te strap so you always have it. you can get knock of one's much the same for abou £6. cable ones are even cheaper at about 3 quid unless you want a super long one.

I have been looking at that one but I could never see that it can be used for the 400d but you've just confirmed that it does
