Hi RICHCJ - I spotted your thread earlier today. It should be possible to get the Reed product in quite easily and I'd like to try it with some recirc invert cultures. What quantity do you think you need at a time and per year?

Cheers

Hi FUGU, to be honest i am after the smallest bottle available just to try out first. Then all going well maybe a larger bottle freezing half and using the other half/refridgerating. Hope you dont mind but i'll pm you a link of what i'm looking for .
Thanks

Hi Rich - no worries. Let me know what range of critters you are wanting to feed the phyto to and I'll check to see the best species for your needs; this option will be freezable. As for the a long term rotifer diet the Roti-rich liquid invert feed and v.easy to use and is good for 12 months just keep it in the fridge. Cheers, FUGU

Hi, will be mainly for rotifer production. I could really do with keeping as much of my live phyto as possible (greenwater technique). Is the roti rich highly concentrated ? I think i'll give it a go and see how it works out. I would be very interested a freezable product if you have anything in the pipeline ?

Hi Rich - concentrated Nanno looks like the way to go. Apparently the product offered remains viable in suspension for at least 2 days when feeding - otherwise longterm storage up to a year once frozen. I'll double check the Roti-rich feeding levels for you tomorrow and should get some feedback on the frozen Nanno prices. No other frozen rotifer feeds expected in the short term. Cheers, FUGU.

Hi Rich - all being well 25ml and 100ml options should be available within the next 14 days. A correction on storage terms: <14 weeks in the fridge and <2 yrs frozen; repeated thawing and refreezing will not be recemmended. Hope that fits in with what you're after? Prices to confirmed nearer the time. Cheers, FUGU

Guidelines for daily rotifer culture feeding:

Basic 5 litre aerated bottle: from 1 drop to 0.5ml per day depending on rotifer density

Intensive 5 litre culture with filtration/ammonia control: from 0.25ml to 2ml per day depending on rotifer density

25ml Instant Phyto equivalent to 87 litres of dense live culture!
100ml Instant Phyto equivalent to 350 litres of dense live culture!

In other words great savings.
