Hello.

All I seem to do these days is ask questions! Either I'm unbelievably dim (highly probable) or everyone else is too afraid to ask (this is what I tell myself!)

Anyway, I've just taken delivery of a GHL Propellor Breeze unit and controller.

I've plugged the controller into L1/L2. On the software, under "1-10V interfaces" I've assigned L1 to "Temperature 1 Controller output" (leaving min and max at 0 and 10 respectively).
Under "Temperature 1" the "1-10V output...." box is disabled. Should it be? Should this just work "out of the box" or am I missing a step somewhere?

Thanks in advance (as always)

Hi Ian,

It sounds like you have it set up correctly, are you using anything else connected to that port using a splitter?
If it is a new unit then the dip switch should be already set to respond to signals on L1 if not try using L2 and then open the box and change the dip switch fro L1.

I'm not sure which box you mean is greyed out, can you post a screen shot?

I have tried it on a couple of systems here and they all have the control enabled. I'll wipe one out tomorrow and try your settings to see if I can find the problem for you.

Hi Ian,

I think I have found it, your settings are from firmware version 4.01. That feature was added in 4.03 firmware, so you must be running the later software 4.03/4 but the unit has older firmware. Therefore it is appearing in the software but can't be set because it is not in the parameter list for the firmware.

Let me know which firmware and software you are running and I can confirm.

That's almost certainly it, Steve. I'll get around to upgrading the controller firmware at some point and let you know the outcome!
