Hi i am new to photography and i am tryin to get some pics of my tank but havin no joy!:(
I am using a Nikon D40x with a 18-55mm lens. I no this isn't the best lens but i am to skint at the mo to buy a macro lens.
How can i take some fairly close up pics of my corals without it being blurred? What would be the best mode and set up, i jus can't get it right!:(
Any help would be great!
:thanks:

Start with posting a picture you've taken.. describe the settings and the equipment you used (hint, if the equipment list doesn't include "tripod" you're always going to struggling against the blur).. and hopefully we can steer you towards improvements. The basics (as apply to any camera) are already listed on many other, similar threads.

I do have a tripod so that shouldn't be a problem, i will try and post some pictures as soon as i can.:p
