I have the chance of some of these -

Info below from Seahorse Source
"Characteristics: H. fuscus is a small species. Have a similar appearance to H. kuda with a relatively smooth appearance. Colors, like most seahorses can vary, but are often yellow
Size: Commonly 3 to 5 inches.
Minimum Tank Size Recommendations: 15 gallons for a pair. 25 to 30 gallons for 2 pairs.
Water Temperature: 72 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit. 22 to 25 degrees Celsius"

Anyone had these or know the good and bad?
Cheers Diane

h fucus are a hard seaorse to get hold of .they are fairly easy to keep no harder then any of the others.they are easier to breed then reidi.i think alot of people have not got them because they are so hard to get so if you can get them i would go for it just make sure they are eating frozon food trying to get hold of live artemia in winter is great fun and its not very nutricious.whenyou buy them ask the shop to feed them and dont buy them if they dont feed.the main difference with fucus is they like there water a little cooler then some of the others ........denise

Thanks Denise
They will be coming from a resting facility where they have been for 2 weeks - then straight to me. I will have to get the guy to give guarantees of eating frozen - he will have to agree to have them back if they don't!! He gets them hand picked for me from a captive breeding source a 3 hour journey away. He may be able to watch them feed when he picks them. I will check before I go ahead and agree. Smaller horses would be good for me as I think the larger types will be a little large in the RSM once full grown.
Cheers Diane :)
