Unfortunately, i only had a disposable camera with me, there was no way i was risking putting my Canon dslr in a cheap underwater housing (and i couldn't afford an expensive housing). This in itself is annoying, but when i went to get my underwater disposable camera developed (good for upto 30m apparently) the developers tell me there is water on the film and it is ruined, so sorry, no under water pics, you will have to do with some above water pics .....

The first is Gordons Reef, part of the Tiran Island Reefs, out of Sharm El-Shiekh, Egypt.

Apparently, a Russian captain was hammered on Vodka, and tried to plough through the Red Sea via route 1. He got up a decent speed and managed to beach his ship up on the reef for all to see!

Nice picture Paul, I dived Jackson a few months back. Colours are super!

I could see the wreck from my room balcony!

Excellent shot, love the colours of the desert behind. When we were there we were told another ship captain was hammered and broke the Louilla above into two even when it was already beached

When we were far away from that reef on the boat the ship looked like an island with a little white house on it, wasnt untill we got close realised it was a shipweck.
