Post examples of the pictures you're not happy with (and the model number of the camera).. 8/10 times it's not the camera causing the problem, just some guidance (there's lots of this on the forums) and practice is needed (work on the basis that you might get one good picture in fifty when you start out, one in forty-nine when you improve).. Almost all cameras of 4MP and up* are capable of taking reasonably clear photographs of aquarium corals with practice. And it's cheaper to practice with camera you've already got.. max out the abilities of that camera and by that point you'll know yourself what you need to go further.

The best way to track down a camera to do a specific purpose is to find a picture that you'd like to be able to take yourself (there's plenty to chose from on the various marine forums) and ask the photographer what equipment they used. But a good picture is 20% the camera and 80% the photographer using it.

* and for web/forum purposes 4MP is more than enough considering the chronic image size reduction needed for posting.
