Hi

I am looking at automating my system with the Profilux Plus II controller.

I was wondering what functionality would be lost should I do the initial programming on the laptop and then connecting the laptop only once a week or so to the controller.

Would I still be able to get all the available data for the whole week during the download?

My only problem is that there is no space to have a computer running 24hrs a day connected to the controller.

Thanks

No problem at all, most if not all people run the unit as is and just connect up to a lappy / PC when needed.

So by running it without the laptop, will it store all the data until the next download? Will I be able to plot graphs of all the parameters since the last download?

The Profilux has buffers to store the data until next time you log-on ..

Quote from manual ..

ProfiLux (Plus) II can record measurement data. For this purpose it offers a storage system which can
record up to a maximum of 600 measurements (configurable). The measurements are stored in the RAM
(volatile memory) – the data will be lost in the event of an interruption in the line voltage supply!
In the event that the measurement storage is full then the oldest data will be overwritten.

Hope this helps ...

Great, so it is as clever as I thought. :applause:
