:w00t:ive just gone to feed the barbouris and ive got a beastie in my tank its not les it looks to young.its about half an inch[ thats 1,3centimeters elliot] its has got a white shell and tentacles could be les?:hysterical:its just sitting there under one of my mushrooms def could be les:laugh::laugh:and spreading its tentacles and eating. anyone got any ideas ?cant get close enough to get a look as its at the back. will try and get pic.take it back cant be les its not reading yours mag and having a pint:ponder:.i just want to know shall i leave him? or does he go to the great toilet in the sky:ponder:will he hurt my seahorses!:( or will they hurt him?:whistling:an ideas will be greatfully accepted:thanks:den

had closer look now the tentacles are in it is a small egg shaped thing with a hole in the front where the tentacles go:shock: thank god for spell check .at this rate i think im going to have to send my computer to school so it learns to accept my typing properly and learn how to spell well its not me:laugh:and it forgets to put spaces in the right places:eh:

sorry my husband has just repaired my lap top but it keeps going into american formate so it wont accept certain wors and the inverted commas and @ key are all wrong i am also having to go over every post twice as it keeps missing letters.i might throw it or maybe him against the wall soon.its just it takes ages to type anything
bloody technology! it's supposed to make life simpler not more complicated LOL

:confused:where did you get that picture from? i know thats not you its my brother in law!!!!!!!anyway i think the tentacles on that pic are too big for you:laugh:it is the computer im female and as you know we are never wrong:thumbsup:anyway i thought if anyone could identify something that looks like its come out of the stone ages it would be you:worship:.im sorry joanna i have those already so its not one of those:no: come on a recap its white and looks like a stone ,it is egg shaped about half an inch long.it has a hole at the front with a flap,it has a mouth and out of the mouth cottonlike tentacles come out .they can be upto 8 inches long.i cant get pic at moment hubbys not talking to me he read my last thread on babies and has hidden all his things that need charging,razor,toothbrush camera,mobile and brain:laugh::laugh:as if hes got one.how come a mobile is the only thing that a man boasts hes got the smallest of:hysterical::eheheh::thanks:den

Hmm.. suppose. I also changed the tank background so that could be it. He ate a bit of algae but then returned to his zippy movemnt in the corner lol. So you think he will be OK? :)

does sound like a stomatella, dose it only have two "tenticals" if so with out a pic thats what i would say it is. they are good cuc if so.

its not a stomatalla it has a few threads that come out of it.it only seems to come to life in the evening it just sits there lifeless like a rock during the day.i will get peter to take a oick but we have been busy with my son and my next thread.but thanks for looking ...den
Yeah they have been delayed due to lack of TB stock at TMC. Apparently loads of fry ar e dying and they cannot feed them (shortage of food) and they arent sending the few they do raise over to TMC Bristol from the London branch . :mad:

Spaghetti worms live in a small tube buried in the substrate and feed on detritus etc they are good for the tank and do no harm.

i had noticed little fans in the tank but this is quite high up under the mushrooms.but as long as they do no harm they can stay.i am serious about the reef though ive seen your one and was well impressed.ive got my eye on a nice 5foot tank thats on offer or they have a 5foot perc.
