Anyone got one of these cameras? and what do you think of it? im looking for a DSLR camera, and as much as i would love a Canon as i used to have a Canon eso5 35mm and it was fantastic, they are really out of my price range.

i can get a brand new nikon D40 for £190 with the standard lense, but i would like to see what other owners of this camera thought of it, and if pos can i see some shots taken by one, nice macro pics if pos, as thats what i would be using it for mainly.

thanks

I bought one last May/June - and for me it serves very well - though I havent had any previous DSLR's so not really qualifies to compare.

But i put some links below which sorta records my attempts.

Since buying the basic package I have added a Nikor 55-200, a Sigma 105mm macro(only works with MF) and a Speedlight 600 flash, plus I have some close up/macro rings of ebay (but these are a bit limited to be honest).

So, here ya go. (Not all reefy)

I have a D60, Not much different from the D40, both great cameras, you will prob need to buy another lens for close up work though.
