It's a very long pipeline indeed...

...with a big loop...

...and it's still there. It has moved though and I would hope that there's something in place for the next SOTM, if not, pretty sure it'll be in place for the SOTM after that.

Here's hoping! ;)

winning should be a big enough reward! :applause:

Obviously the kudos, awe and respect of your fellow reefers is a huge reward in itself, but we're all very shallow and a prize would probably mean quality and quantity of entrants may increase. ;)

Anyway, suffice to say, it's on the cards and has been for a while - just getting the final bits in place has taken an inordinately long time.

I only ask as the company in my sig would really like to become sponsors on this site but their request have never been answered , I too sent a message to site creator and didn't even get a simple thanks for your enquiry. If sponsors aren't donating maybe more/better sponsors are needed??

Sorry to hear that you haven't received a reply to your sponsorship enquiry. Unfortunately Pete (Doh) is not the most timely in his responses, but saying that, he does get a whole load of PMs so it may have slipped through the net, or he may not have got around to it yet.

Will chase it up for you.

yeah thanks, I understand he is very busy and must get a barrage of requests but with luck the aquatrax boys can get a slot on here?

Hi John,

Firstly thanks to Manutius for mentioning my company (AquaCom). We write PC Aquarium Management Software (AquaTrax). Manutius is a happy user and he's always given us a good "shout" as he's a happy user. Thanks Manu.
John, I've sent a couple of PM's regarding sponsorship, but not wanting to be pushy I haven't tried a 3rd time. I am first and foremost a fishkeeper of many years and don't want to come across as being on UR primarily to sell our software. I'm currently moving from FW to marine and need all the help I can get on here :)
AquaTrax has taken 5 years to write, it's fantastic fish-keeping software and right up the street of reef and marine keepers. I would love for AquaCom to be a sponsor and we've just had our Retail Packaged software released to go into the high street chains so I'd be more than happy to provide prizes for UR competitions etc.
Let me know (Pm or otherwise) if this is of interest. I'd rather put my advertising budget and prizes into UR than anywhere else to be honest...
Thanks, Stuart
