Pictures of an Aquareef set up, some 10 months old now and with a fair few bits and piece changed from standard.

95% of what you see is from Marine Life.

Changes have been:

T5's dropped and TMC Aquarays installed (x3)
Koralia 1 added
Filtration removed and refugia filled with Live Rock
Moonlight strip LED's added (2 strips 12" each)
Auto top-up unit added

Some very nice coral shots there, looks very impressive indeed, there are a lot of people looking to use the aquarays so i am sure your shots will be of interest to them.

:thanks:

The aquarays have been on the tank a long time. I bought them within 2 weeks of them coming out. Faults with the original units were swiftly dealt with and they were replaced by Jason via TMC f.o.c.

I've been very impressed with them. Since they rectified the faulty units there is no sign of dimming and the coral growth has been very impressive. I run 1 x dual white and 1 x single white.

is the tank effectively open-topped now because of the Aquarays?

Ooops, just seen this.

No, it's still got the full hood on it. I removed the T5's, isolated the connectors and the Aquarays fit perfectly and neatly into the hood area where the tubes go. One in the front, two at the rear. They screw through the thin hood and are topped off with a bit of milliput on the surface. Externally it looks just like it did in standard form - just a lot brighter and with the lovely shimmer effect.
