Hi

Do you sell any live phytoplankton that I do not have to culture beforehand?

If yes, how long will this last me? What would I need to do to keep them it alive?

Thanks

Hi Gouri

Sure do. Just go to the following link for all your needs:

http://cnb-host1.clickandbuild.com/cnb/shop/zm-ltd?op=catalogue-products-null&prodCategoryID=25

See the phytoplankton culture sticky in our sponsor section for pointers; basically a stable warm, lighted environment, with aeration, and far away from rotifers.

If you don't want to culture phyto the Instant Phyto is a really good alternative and easy to keep in the fridge.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Cheers

FUGU - Thanks!

Any ideas if the Instant Phyto is suitable for feeding Janaria mirabilis?

Thanks

Hi Gouri

If they normally thrive on phyto the Instant Phyto should be no problem, another option is the Roti-Rich diet developed by Florida Aqua Farms that caters for filter feeders from rotifers, artemia, pods, and corals. If the Janaria can handle 80-200 micron particles the ZM-100 food is another food worth trying by making the powder into a suspension and dispersing close to the Janaria......?
