as am looking to get a 105mm macro

The pound has weakend against the dollar, euro, yen and the wine gum.. plus most of the retailers and manufacturers are coming to the end of their winter sales periods.. so it's pretty much inevitable that prices of imported lenses are going to increase in the short-term. I was just reading a similar message to yours from someone else discussing getting the Sigma 10-20 EX.

yep, it stinks but nothing we can do about it, canon also have increased thier prices......lucky i'm a pentax user :D

not used it yet got from jessops for £320 and just waiting to collect it ( next few days) :thumbsup:
I've had a 10-20 for a while. Good lens, nice and sharp unlike some sigmas I've used....
