Aeration

Hi Guys

i have a Marisys 240 Under Tank Filtration system . so far i have 5 fish , some hermits / shrimps / snails etc .

when i look at other tanks and aeration there are alot of bubbles in the tank .

i don`t see many in my tank . but the fish look healthy and happy ..
how do i tell the tank is being aerated enough

i'm not sure what you mean by this. i thought that people tend to copmplain about bubbles in the tank.

i have found that the main issue with poor aeration caused by not having a skimmer was low ph. what is you ph range?

you can increase aeration by increasing turbulence at the surface of the tank and sump.

it was just looking at other tanks and there are loads of bubbles , maybe just me expecting to see something different . it has been 15 years since i last had a set up .
ph level is around 8.2 .
