View Full Version : AquaMedic overtank mounting brackets/legs
Hi,
I'm looking for luminiare stand - that allows one to mount a lighting unit over a tank without the need to suspend it. Apparently you get Aqua Medic ones but haven't been able to source these anywhere.
Can you help me?

Ah, sorry my mistake, got muddled up on the first post, the arcdia legs won't fit the aquamedic, will see if AM have bought out any of their own.

Do Aqua Medic produce luminare legs? If you are able to get these how much are they?

Hi, AM don't prouce legs for lights, the ones that I knopw of are Giessmann, but they generally only fit the system 230's, and aqua one, but again probably only fit their own lights. I did see a while ago that hagen had quite a good light stand, it didn't fit onto the tank, but stood behind, buit i don't think they are availble any longer.
Regards
Neil
Thanks you've been very helpful.
...ah, yes you can get legs for the AquaMedic oceanlight series, I got some.
I used arcadia series 4 legs with an OL150 and they were fine.....
Curvball, Have you really purchased this product; or are you telling fibs?

Great, now we are getting somewhere. Do you mind if I ask where you purchased them from?
Can't remember TBH. Plenty of places do them, check with the sponsers but I just googled and went for the cheapest. BTW I know they will fit an AM OL150 fine but don't know about other aquamedic light units.......
thanks, I'll make some enquiries.
