Hi
I need to upgrade my camera and was wondering if anyone could advise a good camera that will take good pics of my tank, for a reasonable price. Around the 100 - 200 mark? Mine is a 3.2 pixel, which cost about 200 back in the day!

How about the Fuji finepix A820? However if you could extend your budget to around £250 you could get yourself a Nikon D40 6mp DSLR. :D

I've noticed lots of Nikon D40 in the windows of the cash-converter/pawn-shop type places at the moment.. you could probably pick one up with the kit lens for about the £200-mark if you keep your eyes open and haggle a bit (new is around £240 atm).

If you want a great all round camera without the hassle of investing in lenses for a dslr look at the fuji s2000hd (http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/prod980.html). Does a lot for the money but has an electronic viewfinder (EVF) which is not to everyone's taste....

Nikon D40 is around £249 so not much above your budget but a serious upgrade as its 10mega pixal 3.2fps interchangeable lenses

Hi I just bought a panansonic fx500 seems very good and has some manual controls too. Loads of features for the money. Not as good as my old slr but good none the less, has handy intelligent mode so it automatically selects the best settings. I shopped around and got it for £200

Well, given that you can get a new Nikon DSLR for <£250 according to CPB
