How is it floating to powerhead inlets? Do you not have it in a bag?

in the red sea max there is a chamber for the bio filer material in bag, that goes at the bottom, then the carbon (in bag) goes on top of that, then further up come the power heads.. inlets in the chamber, and outlets go through glass into main tank.
the carbon in the bag ( whcih is the supplied red sea one) is still floating...

hope that makes sense.

Thanks
Darren.

HI

I run mine in the chamber to the right of the skimmer.

Hold it down with a small piece of live-rock. This will stop it from blocking your pump inlets

cheers

That's just what I was going to say. Put a piece of rock in the bag.

I hold mine down with a bag of phosphate remover. Solves two problems in in one.

small piece of live rock is the answer. The problem with using PO4 removers etc is that they can restrict the water flow in some cases.
