Urgent Help

last few weeks I was having problems with the slave pump not responding to the master so I tried to reset both of them and now the master just has a red light and pump does not do anything and the slave pump seems to have broken all together and no power what so ever is going into the controller :eek: :mad:
now I have just had to go out and fork out on some pumps so I don't get a tank wipeout. where do I go from here about getting them fixed or even better a refund as I have seen a lot of threads about these pumps breaking and after receiving fixed or new ones I don't want to be sending them back again in a few months time.

ok have sorted the problem out with the master that had a red light so thats now working ok but still have no power what so ever on the other pump, if you turn the pump off then just as you switch it one there is a spark kinda sound and a red light flashes once and thats it.
There is still a green light on the adaptor so I guess the problem is with the controller itself. :(

Not sure what has happend here are the controllers near ballasts as this has been known to corrupt dataflow if ballasts are in the same area.

Where did you buy the pump from ?
In general we have had minimal pump failure most of the swap outs I have done were due to a noisy batch of drysides.

Give me a call monday and I will arrange to get this sorted out.

thanks for the reply.
the controller is about a foot away from my light unit. so being this close to ballast can cause the controller to break and have no power ? :confused: its been set up like this for a few months now but suddenly packed up today.
Will give you a call on Monday on the number I rang you on today.
the pump is from heritage aquatics

to tell you the truth I am pretty upset about ballast interfering with the controller connections as above the tank is the only place I can have the controllers so looks like I will have to place them so high above the tank and lights that I will need a ladder to get to them or have connection problems now and again or sell them for a lot less then what I paid for them only a few months ago :(
