Brine Shrimp Hufa Enrichment

Hi , I'm using your Hufa enrichment, The instructions say the emulsion should be prepared a day before hatching.ie whent the shrimp cysts are hydrated. I wondered what the reason is and why it cannot be mixed at the time of hatching. Thanks in advance:thanks:

Hi Mike - a slight correction in protocol with the latest formulation that doesn't need to be prepared in advance.

This product is used to enrich shrimp in the 24 hrs after hatching.
1. setup culture with 1g cysts per litre.
2. hatch the shrimp, harvest, clean the hatcher, and refill with salted water.
3. emulsify 0.6 g or 1 ml of HUFA in 8ml fresh culture water using a clean pipette.
4. add emulsion to newly hatched shrimp and harvest after 24 hrs.
