I hope I'm allowed to say this but this is one of my most favourite tanks! I want this system in my own house!!
This months tank is so vibrant with the numerous fish and the stunning coral colonies, it just sparkles! If you ever doubt the effort of keeping your back glass clean then just take a look at this one. Keeping a tank that looks as good as this running requires dedication, committment and a maintenance routine that is adhered to!
Congratulations Dave on being UltimateReefs March 2009 Tank of the Month.

i got the stylo as a tiny frag from a reef meeting at a m8's house about 6 months ago.
i'll ask him who brought it, and let you know ;)

Cracking tank you got there congrats :applause:
out of interest how many hours a week do you give to maintenance?
it doesn't really take that long to do the various small items detailed in the feature on maintenance.
probably about 10-15 minutes each night, and and hour or so at the weekend.
depending on if i do a waterchange that week.
i try to keep it simple and make a habit of doing things, you can do them without really having to think about doing them then, if that makes sense..... :)
congratulations beautiful tank

Something to aspire to!!!!
Thank you for sharing this with us. It truly is a lovely tank with such a good overall mix of corals that compliment each other perfectly. Is that an anemone in the bottom right?

the magnifica anemone is center left/top
...bottom right is a very fluffy cataphillia that needs more room :)

Lovely tank mate...saw the flow you had in the vid, and as a result just cranked the Vortechs up a tad in my tank ;)
Trig.
just read your tank build from start to finish and i have to say well deserverd imo its also pleasing to see totm moving slowly north as i feel that there must be a lot of tanks still worthy of this yet to be "found" north of watford. It is also good to hear that you have had the same problems and continue to do so from apps and white spot that the rest of us do. Well done martin
Congrats, and an amazing tank!! The colours are out of this world!! WELL DONE!!
