hi ive had a mudsump on my tank for about 4yrs now and in that time the seaweed has never filled more than half the sump. ive used caleurpa,cheato and 2 other types that i don't know the name of.the tank is fine though but just wonder why j

whats the lighting cycle and what lights have you got lighting your sump?

the light is on 24/7 and its a 24w daylight bulb cheersj

Are your nitrate levels really low all the time? It'll only grow to the amount of nutrients it has.

to be honest haven't tested ih a long time , but once they where 40-50 ppm and still seaweed didn't grow j

Hi,

Try lighting it on a reverse cycle (main lights off, sump light on ect).
