Sony Cybershot 7.2

I bought this Ikolite casing for my Sony Cybershot.It enables me to take my camera down to supposedly 40 meters however on my last diving trip the max depth I was allowed to dive to was 12 meters when I heard a crack,
I found out later that the camera casing itself had buckled. The outer Ikelite waterproof box was fine.
Im off on holiday soon do you think that now Im allowed to dive to 30 meters my camera will survive?
